Storytime in the Park Fall 2011
We're exicited to announce another great "Storytime in the park" series for Fall 2011!
Join The Park People and the Pink Banana Theatre Company this fall for "story time in the park" in your beautiful Milwaukee County Parks!

Familes are invited to neighborhood parks across Milwaukee County for a unique series of safe, fun, affordable and interactive "story times" performed by The Pink Banana Theatre Company!
We'll be serving refreshments provided by local businesses and plenty of fun to keep your little ones engaged and entertained.
All events are limited to 35 children and free for children of Park People members or $5 per child for those who aren't members.
Saturday, September 24th at Washington Park:
Come and enjoy the age old art of oral storytelling come to life in a beautiful Milwaukee park setting. Come join a masterful storyteller present the rich and wonderful fairy tales from the classic Grimm's fairy tale collection. The Stories will come to life through movement and the spoken word. You've never experienced Grimm's quite like this!
Location: The Wasnington Park Bandshell.
Sunday, October 2nd at O'Donnell Park:
“Living Arts Eurythmy Ensemble” will perform original adaptations of poetry, fables and legends from around the world. This performance features graceful dance or movement paired with oral storytelling creating a unique and powerful experience.
Location: The South Gardens on top of O'Donnell Park between Coast Restaraunt and the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Saturday October 8th at Cannon Park:
The most popular performance from our Spring series returns: Aesop's fables have long been a favorite for parent's and children a like. An original adaptation of two of these fantastic stories presented by master puppeteers, "Angry, Young Men ltd.", which are neither angry, necessarily young, or exclusively male. A puppet show of magical proportions, this performance is sure to dazzle!

A special night of entertainment for parents and adults only concludes our fall 2011 series of "Storytime in the Park". Be the first to see a sneak preview of “Dead Man’s Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl” produced by Pink Banana Theatre Company performed for your viewing pleasure. There will also be laughs from local comedians performing in a beautiful park setting.
