Humboldt Park Watch

Mission:

We are a community group dedicated to addressing the security and maintenance needs in Humboldt Park and its surrounding areas
Vision:

Improved maintenance of the park, tree replacement for old growth (Tree Day helps because we get trees planted at that time), marketing information to attract more people to the park. More park employees to discourage possible vandalism and increase maintenance.
Events:

Our annual events include a spring cleanup, spring egg hunt, corn roast in August, tree day in Oct for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade local school children and winter pot luck in January.
Needs:

We would like to do neighborhood recruitment for the Park Watch by Posting flyers and a door to door campaign both for recruits and as an informational campaign about the Park Watch.
